The role itself involves a wide variety of responsibilities including preparing fresh ingredients, building salads quickly and accurately, engaging warmly with customers, maintaining strict sanitation and hygiene standards, handling kitchen tools and equipment safely, and supporting inventory management. Team communication and multitasking are essential to ensure smooth operations especially during busy service hours. This position requires availability for a minimum of 12 hours per week and involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, and pulling. The team members frequently perform repetitive motions like chopping, assembling, and cleaning, and must have physical endurance to maintain energy throughout shifts. Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Lifting routinely handling items up to 5-25 lbs and occasionally handling items 40-50 lbs
  • Bending for accessing low areas and handling items
  • Reaching for accessing high areas and handling items
  • Squatting for accessing low areas and handling items
  • Pulling to manage tasks requiring pulling items or equipment
  • Manual dexterity for typing, interacting with systems, handling tools including knives, thermometers, POS systems, and managing cleaning tools
  • Physical mobility to navigate stairs, doors, ramps, elevators, and use equipment
  • Repetitive motions for frequent tasks like typing, cleaning, chopping, assembling, and mixing
  • Physical endurance to maintain energy and efficiency through long shifts and peak periods
  • Coordination for balance, multitasking, and handling bulky items in tight spaces
  • Standing and walking for extended periods including moving between areas

Job Qualifications

  • Restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience with strong customer service skills
  • Quick learner who is reliable, organized, and adapts easily to different stations
  • Team-oriented and proactive especially during peak periods
  • Passionate about food quality, safety, and creating memorable guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality while supporting smooth restaurant operations
  • Food preparation including portioning, mixing, squeezing, chopping, and prepping ingredients
  • Build salads quickly and accurately ensuring correct portions and presentation
  • Greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and provide friendly, efficient service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Safely operate kitchen tools and equipment including knives, robot coupe, blenders, thermometers, dish machines, and POS systems
  • Restock and rotate ingredients and supplies throughout service and prep shifts
  • Use clear verbal cues for team coordination and workplace safety
  • Follow prep guides and recipe cards ensuring food prepared to standards with allergen and cross-contamination protocols
  • Efficiently manage prep, service, and cleaning responsibilities especially during peak hours
