Job Duties

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and handwash in three-compartment sink to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items
  • Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
  • Sort and organize cleaned dishes and utensils in designated storage areas
  • Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to manage the flow of dirty and clean dishes
  • Support kitchen staff by keeping work areas clean and sanitized
  • Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste following proper procedures
