Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • zero to one year of relevant experience
  • meet minimum legal age for alcohol service
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • ability to work varying shifts and open availability preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or equivalent experience
  • zero to one year of relevant experience
  • must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol or work as a bartender according to local and state regulations

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar furniture, tables, and other tools
  • collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware as needed to ensure an adequate supply for serving customers
  • prepare fresh garnishes for drinks using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) system
  • restock the bar or designated station with provisions and transfer provisions to the bar area
  • anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar area, beer drawers, and storage and refrigeration areas to comply with health code standards
  • walk or circulate significantly throughout the shift
  • stand or walk for long periods, potentially exceeding 8 hours
  • reach, bend, squat, push and/or pull, frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • attend work and report to scheduled shifts on time with sufficient regularity
  • perform other tasks as assigned which may vary between accounts depending on business needs and customer requirements
