The Department of Athletics at TCU is a vital arm of the university dedicated to enhancing student-athlete success not only through competitive excellence but also holistic wellness and human performance. The Athletics Wellness Center serves as a critical facility offering state-of-the-art resources that support over 20 full-time staff engaged in sports medicine, human performance, and wellness programming. These services are designed to improve athlete health, performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, fostering an optimal environment for athletic and personal growth.

TCU is seeking a dedicated and organized Coordinator for the Athletics Wellness Center who will play an essential role in supporting the Director of the Wellness Center and overseeing the daily operations of multiple wellness and human performance facilities. This full-time professional position requires a highly motivated individual skilled at multitasking and capable of managing operational functions, coordinating special events, and providing administrative support to a diverse and dynamic staff. The Coordinator will act as a primary point of contact and liaison within the athletics community, working closely with student-athletes, coaches, recruits, donors, and other visitors to ensure a welcoming and efficient wellness environment.

In this role, the Coordinator of Athletics Wellness Center will manage all aspects of the wellness center's general operations and oversee human performance multi-use spaces, including scheduling, maintenance coordination, and quality control of sports medicine equipment. The position demands a strong customer service orientation and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. The Coordinator will also collaborate regularly with Athletics Facility Departments to arrange necessary repairs and upkeep, ensuring a safe and functional space for all users.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and have at least two years of experience in event or office management. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, proficiency with budget and contract management software, and the ability to independently evaluate and improve center operations. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as required by the event schedules and daily operations is essential. Familiarity with intercollegiate athletics culture and compliance with NCAA, Big 12 Conference policies, and university regulations is also critical.
