Job Requirements
- Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods and HAZ-MAT preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including outside normal business hours
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to perform tasks with effective time management and multitasking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-specific software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must maintain professional demeanor and work ethic
- Ability to comply with TSA and security protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to speak English

Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics or related business
- Experience with Dangerous Goods/HAZ-MAT certification is desired
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based software applications
- Ability to complete air and ground shipping documents both electronically and manually
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present a professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to maintain customer satisfaction and create repeat business
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate concepts
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
- Regular reliable attendance
- Compliance with security and safety regulations
- Ability to speak English as required by the customer
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Job Duties
- Use company training and experience to determine the most efficient, cost effective, time sensitive transportation processes
- Carry out assignments including evaluating transportation options regarding pricing, timing, availability, and volume
- Serve as the front-line communicator for customer and vendor disputes and resolve complaints to preserve relationships
- Manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proactively identify and control shipments at risk to ensure on-time delivery
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with service providers
- Document shipments accurately including special requests and certifications
- Monitor shipments to maintain on-time service integrity
- Participate in 24-hour on call rotation when required
- Communicate shipment issues promptly and escalate to management as needed
- Ensure compliance with TSA regulations and company security procedures
- Utilize internet tracking applications to update and monitor shipment status
- Perform other duties as assigned
