Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a hotel or high-end restaurant setting
  • culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • comprehensive knowledge of cooking ingredients, techniques, and procedures
  • strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Job Qualifications

  • Requires great communication skills
  • 3+ years of previous line experience preferred
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • able to work multiple stations in the kitchen
  • requires moderate supervision and training, may be required to give direction in the absence of a supervisor

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes with precision and creativity
  • collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and refine existing ones
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • manage multiple tasks and stations efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • demonstrate leadership skills and advanced culinary knowledge in high-pressure situations
