Join the Cookie Crew at our San Francisco store located at 362 Kearny St, San Francisco CA 94108, where you will become the ultimate Insomniac. This position offers part-time employment with a competitive starting wage of $20.00 per hour. As a Cookie Crew member, you will be the face of the store, interacting warmly with guests and providing an exceptional customer service experience. Your role also includes baking our warm, delicious cookies and preparing ice cream, ensuring that every product meets high standards of quality and freshness. Flexibility is built into the work schedules, allowing team members to balance their hours while working in a vibrant, fun, and supportive environment.
The role involves multitasking between front-of-house customer interaction duties and back-of-house baking responsibilities. You will greet guests promptly, accurately take and clarify their orders, and deliver the famous Insomnia Cookies experience both in-person and over the phone. Beyond the customer service aspect, responsibilities include handling cash and payments with precision, packaging orders for fast and warm delivery, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 40-pound boxes and to work an evening schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed

Job Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
- Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
- Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
- Great communication, organizational and math skills
Job Duties
- Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
- Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
- Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person and over the phone
- Bake our delicious cookies to perfection and a scoop of ice cream
- Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
- Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery
