Job Description

The Salvation Army's New Bedford Corps is hiring a Cook/Food Service Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day food service operations at the New Bedford Corps, including providing meals for programs such as Feeding Program, Music Program, Seniors Program, Special Events, and Emergency Disaster Services. The individual will also be responsible for catering and special event planning.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years' experience in food service or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Training in the Food & Beverage Industry
  • Experience in meal preparation for various size groups, up to 300
  • Supervisory Skills
  • Current ServSafe Manager certification
