Job Requirements
- Candidate possessing a current / valid driver’s license is preferred, as this enables them to drive University vehicles for the purpose of food deliveries to the campus community
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced work environment
- Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Education and work experience in the food service or similar industry has valued merit
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate POS register system
Job Duties
- May be asked to work at another Campus Dining location as needed
- The position is typically in our Rathskeller Pizza and Grill quick service, grocery, snack bar and pizza delivery operation and is accountable for following standardized recipes
- Operating the cash register according to specified procedures, taking customer orders and maintaining the kitchen area to meet sanitation, health and safety standards
- Properly rotate perishable ingredients, utilize code date labeling to ensure the highest quality menu items are served
- Performs routine cleaning and organization of workstations, equipment, all food production and food storage areas of the operation
