- High School Diploma or GED
- valid Ohio ServSafe certificate
- clear BCI/FBI record
- comply with drug-free workplace rules and all board policies
- self-directed
- congenial disposition and strong diplomacy skills
- ability to prepare standardized recipes using commercial kitchen equipment
- ability to comply with nutrition, health, and safety laws/regulations
- ability to accurately measure, weigh, and adjust recipe ingredients
- additional training and work experience deemed essential by the board of education and administration at the time of hire

Job Duties
- Prepare standardized recipes using commercial kitchen equipment
- comply with nutrition, health, and safety laws and regulations
- accurately measure, weigh, and adjust recipe ingredients
- support food service delivery
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas
- handle cashier duties when assigned
- interact diplomatically with students and staff
