Job Description
Cowgirls Inc. is a dynamic hospitality establishment that operates as both a casual dining restaurant and a lively bar. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and community-oriented vibe, Cowgirls Inc. offers a unique blend of comfort food and spirited entertainment, making it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. Our venue prides itself on delivering quality food and exceptional service in a relaxed environment where guests can enjoy great meals, refreshing drinks, and a friendly ambiance.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and versatile individual to join our team as both a cook and barback. This dual role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and bar, and it requires someone who is adaptable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The cook position focuses on preparing a simple yet popular menu including burgers, wings, fries, and pizza. While prior cooking experience is beneficial, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and demonstrate a passion for food preparation.
Simultaneously, as a barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bartenders by managing the stock of beverages, cleaning the bar area, and handling inventory logistics such as moving kegs, trash cans, and cases of beer. Physical ability to lift heavier items and stamina to work late hours during busy nights are important for success in this role. This position offers competitive compensation, with the cook role paying $28 per hour and the barback role paying $21.30 per hour plus tips.
The ideal candidate will be available to work weekdays and weekends, starting in the afternoon after 3pm and continuing until as late as 2am when the bar is busiest. This schedule demands reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude to collaborate with our team and contribute to a positive guest experience. Joining Cowgirls Inc. means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to delivering top-notch service and creating memorable moments for all patrons. We look forward to welcoming a new member who is ready to take on the challenges of this dynamic position and grow their skills in both cooking and bar support capacities.
