Job Requirements

One year or more of prior knowledge in the cooking field
ServSafe Food Safety is desired but not required
GED is desired but not required
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

Job Qualifications

Prior knowledge in the cooking field
Ability to work under direction of kitchen leadership
Customer service skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness and stock
Effective communication with team members
Basic food safety knowledge preferred

Job Duties

Prepare food in the Food and Nutrition Department under the direction of the Executive chef, Sous chef, and/or Director
Consistently meet the needs of patients through good working rapport
Prepare and serve meals that are appetizing to the patients
Maintain cafeteria cleanliness
Maintain cafeteria stock
Provide good customer service to guests
