Job Requirements
- Open availability 6am-6pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Willingness to provide excellent hospitality and pride in meal preparation
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as cleaning and dishwashing
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to following all safety and administrative policies
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- One year of previous scratch cooking experience preferred
- Experience in dining table service helpful
- Ability to assist in cooking, cleaning, product stock rotation, ware washing, and floor scrubbing
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to listen and share ideas openly
- Dependability and responsibility as a team member
Job Duties
- Take orders and serve residents meals
- Remove dishes and clean dining room and other assigned areas
- Maintain standards for dining services including efficient meal service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness
- Assure serving meals within scheduled time frames
- Report food service problems, concerns, and issues appropriately
- Observe other operational or safety issues and communicate them accordingly
- Follow all work, safety, and administrative regulations including local and state requirements
