Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
  • Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

  • Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests
  • Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards
  • Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals
  • Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation at all times
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area
  • Other duties as assigned
