Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior culinary or food preparation experience
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to work part-time 24-32 hours per week
  • willing to comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • must be dependable and compassionate
  • temporary employment status

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food preparation and culinary services
  • hands-on experience with a la carte food preparation
  • ability to follow kitchen safety protocols
  • previous experience in assisted living, hotel, club or fine dining setting preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ServSafe certificate
  • proficiency in English

Job Duties

  • prepare food items following established recipes and dietary guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas
  • adhere to kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
  • assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
  • collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service
  • follow all regulatory and company guidelines related to food handling
  • provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
