Job Requirements

  • No experience required - willing to train
  • able to work full-time onsite in Virginia Beach, VA
  • must be able to instruct and train employees
  • must have strong leadership and multitasking skills
  • knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
  • ability to maintain high quality and safety standards
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • experience supervising a team
  • food handlers certification preferred
  • ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising and coordinating kitchen staff to maintain efficiency
  • enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations
  • managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
