The Cook Supervisor role at Summit is an integral part of the correctional facility kitchen team located in Woodstown, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position offers an hourly wage of $20.00 and involves supervising and coordinating kitchen activities to maintain high food quality, ensure timely meal service, and train staff in culinary and sanitation standards. The Cook Supervisor will manage a team in a fast-paced correctional setting, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and promoting efficient kitchen operations. This role requires someone with at least one year of culinary experience, particularly in high-volume and scratch cooking environments, capable of multitasking while maintaining a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to service. Responsibilities include instructing employees, overseeing food preparation quality including portioning and presentation, and ensuring meal services start and finish on schedule.
