We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Food Service Director to join our Corrections team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This full-time, onsite position offers an hourly wage of $30.00 and operates within the Washington County Jail facility. In this critical leadership role, the Assistant Food Service Director will assist in overseeing all culinary operations while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. This position requires a candidate with excellent supervisory skills, the ability to lead a large diverse team including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering personnel, and a commitment to delivering friendly, high quality foodservice. The Assistant Food Service Director will play a key part in maintaining a professional, efficient, and profitable foodservice operation that adheres to correctional facility standards.
The role also involves developing and implementing staffing strategies focused on recruitment, training, and retention of talent, alongside demonstrating strong leadership and communication to promote a positive workplace culture. Job Requirements

- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role
- At least two years’ foodservice experience
- Proven track record of financial responsibility
