Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior culinary experience of at least one year in high volume or quality-focused food service
- knowledge of proper culinary methods and food safety standards
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- experience in supervising staff
- strong attention to detail
- willingness to work onsite in Saint Louis, Missouri
Job Qualifications
- At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
- excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
- high-level product knowledge
- experience supervising a team
- ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
- effective communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- ensuring meal services begin on time
- ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
- supervising the kitchen team to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
- monitoring food preparation processes to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- addressing and resolving any employee or operational issues promptly
