Summit is currently seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor for their correctional facility kitchen team located in Santa Rosa, California. This full-time, onsite role is integral to the efficient operation of the kitchen, requiring leadership capabilities combined with culinary expertise. The Cook Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to maintain high standards in food preparation, sanitation, and service delivery in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $26.00, reflecting the importance of this role within the institution.

The role demands strong managerial skills, as the Cook Supervisor will train and instruct employees on proper food handling, preparation techniques, and sanitation standards. Ensuring that meal services begin promptly and that all food items meet quality standards in portion, appearance, and temperature is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of culinary experience in a high-volume setting emphasizing scratch cooking.
