Job Requirements

At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
experience supervising a team
ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
food handlers certification preferred

Job Qualifications

At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking

high-level product knowledge
experience supervising a team
ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
familiarity with food service in a correctional or institutional setting is a plus

Job Duties

Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
ensuring meal services begin on time
ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
coordinating kitchen operations within the correctional facility
