The Cook Supervisor role at Summit's correctional facility kitchen in Santa Rosa, California, is a full-time, onsite position that offers $26.00 per hour. This role is designed for an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in high-volume and quality food preparation, especially with an emphasis on scratch cooking. As a Cook Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the kitchen team to maintain efficiency while adhering to established culinary standards and food safety regulations.

This position requires a hands-on supervisor who can lead by example through instructing and training kitchen staff in all food service and sanitation procedures. Job Requirements

  • At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Food handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
