The Assistant Food Service Director role at Summit represents a dynamic leadership position within the corrections segment, specifically supporting the Washington County Jail operations. This full-time onsite position offers a competitive compensation rate of $30.00 per hour and demands a motivated professional ready to oversee all aspects of kitchen and dining operations. As the Assistant Food Service Director, you will be instrumental in recruiting, training, and retaining talented staff including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering team members to ensure smooth and efficient running of services. Your leadership will guarantee not only the delivery of high-quality food but also exceptional customer service and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years experience in a supervisory role
  • At least two years foodservice experience
  • Proven track record of financial responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills

  • Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees
  • Overseeing safety and sanitation compliance within the food service operations
  • Managing inventory and financial responsibility for the account
  • Supporting employee development and maintaining a positive work environment
