Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year culinary experience in a quality high volume setting
  • knowledge of culinary methods and standards
  • ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
  • experience supervising employees
  • effective communication skills
  • food handlers certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year prior culinary experience in a high volume establishment with scratch cooking emphasis
  • knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • monitoring portion size, appearance, and temperature of food
  • supervising team members to maintain quality standards
  • coordinating kitchen operations efficiently
  • enforcing food safety and hygiene policies
  • assisting with inventory and supply management
