The Cook Supervisor role at Summit's correctional facility in Woodstown, New Jersey, is a full-time, onsite position offering a compensation rate of $20.00 per hour. This position plays a pivotal role in the kitchen team, overseeing food preparation activities to ensure adherence to culinary standards, sanitation regulations, and meal service schedules. The Cook Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the kitchen staff, ensuring meals are prepared on time with appropriate portioning, appearance, and temperature, maintaining the highest quality standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one years' culinary experience in a quality, high-volume environment
- knowledge of culinary methods and techniques
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- prior supervisory experience
- Food Handlers certification preferred
