The Cook Supervisor role at Summit's correctional facility kitchen in South Bend, Indiana, is a full-time, onsite position that offers a vital leadership role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. As a Cook Supervisor, you will coordinate and supervise kitchen employees to ensure efficient operations and strict adherence to culinary standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of culinary experience in a high volume establishment
- Experience supervising a team
- Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
- Ability to work onsite full-time
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Food handler certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
