Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year high-volume cooking experience required
  • Must possess good recall and memory
  • Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
  • Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment and good knife skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor a must
  • Must have or be able to obtain Health Card

Job Duties

  • Maintain a working knowledge of menu items and recipes
  • Work rapidly and accurately
  • Utilize proper food handling techniques following Health and Safety Standards
  • Maintain proper stocking of assigned station and know the mise en place
  • Clean, maintain and organize work area
  • Assist Chef in menu preparation and service
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
