Job Duties
- Prepare delicious, nourishing and well-balanced meals to meet daily nutritional and special dietary needs
- Follow standardized recipes
- Prepare foods that correspond to menu cycles developed by registered dietitians
- Cook or prepare appetizing, well-presented, and nutritionally adequate meals served at proper temperatures and appropriate times
- Use food supplies and equipment efficiently and economically to prevent waste
- Prepare and maintain food alternatives to accommodate guest choices and refusals
- Supervise culinary staff with regard to food storage, preparation, tray assembly, and cleaning
- Supervise culinary center's employees in the absence of the chef or dietary manager
