The role available is for a Part-Time Seasonal Cook at Segra Stadium, the home of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. This seasonal position primarily spans from April through September, catering to the vibrant event calendar at the stadium. The pay rate for this position is $14.50 per hour, reflecting competitive wages within the seasonal hospitality sector. The Cook is responsible for preparing food items that adhere strictly to federal, state, and company regulations and standards, ensuring top-quality food service during events.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work part-time on a seasonal basis between April and September
  • basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety
  • capacity to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to follow safety protocols including proper glove and shoe use
  • good communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Job Duties

  • prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • tastes all prepared food items
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • responsible for records from area worked during service periods
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
