Job Requirements

  • must be available to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capacity to follow safety and sanitation protocols strictly
  • physical ability to lift and carry food items
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced food service environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in volume food production or institutional cooking preferred
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
  • ability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • coordinate and prepare large volume food production for patients, cafeteria, and catering events
  • ensure safe food handling and compliance with health regulations
  • develop and modify menus as needed
  • assemble meals and control portions accurately
  • manage inventory effectively
  • maintain infection control and sanitation standards
  • follow established food service policies and procedures
