Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and frequently lift 35 to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to use and maintain kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and company standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Sets up the batter table and prepares batter mix
- Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used
- Checks all equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge
- Color balances fryers and maintains proper shortening levels
- Filters and cleans fryers at designated times using safety equipment
- Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs
- Prepares and cooks food products as directed
- Ensures food meets specifications, quality standards, and holding times
- Maintains clean work area using clean-as-you-go practices
- Verifies product and supplies availability in batter area
- Organizes and cleans the cooler
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge
