The position available is within the Nutrition Services department and focuses on food preparation and service delivery to patients and hospital customers. This role, essential to patient care and satisfaction, involves the accurate preparation and portioning of food according to prescribed diet requirements, adhering strictly to sanitation and safety guidelines to maintain the highest level of hygiene and workplace safety. The Food Service worker will use cooking equipment efficiently and competently, follow detailed recipes and preparation instructions, and maintain meticulous records related to food preparation using HACCP protocols.
