Job Requirements
- one year of related experience
- certification of completion of Food Handler Training Course by Jefferson County Department of Health within 21 days of employment
- ability to work full-time shifts including mornings and evenings
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- adherence to health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- prepare food items for patients children visitors and staff using specialized equipment
- communicate recipe and production issues to supervisors
- develop and implement USDA menus for children up to sixty months
- ensure all food preparation meets safety and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment
- follow all health and safety regulations
- collaborate with nutrition and healthcare teams
