Key facilities encompass UAB Hospital, the state's top-ranked hospital by U.S. News & World Report, featuring Alabama's only ACS-verified Level I adult trauma center and a Magnet-designated hospital, alongside UAB Hospital-Callahan Eye and five UAB St. Vincent’s hospitals serving central Alabama.

UAB Medicine offers diverse career opportunities across various practice environments—from a globally recognized academic medical center to award-winning community hospitals and a broad spectrum of primary and specialty care clinics throughout the state. Whether you are attracted to the dynamic, fast-paced learning environment characteristic of tertiary care or prefer the close-knit atmosphere of a community facility, UAB Medicine provides a place where you can thrive and contribute to its mission-driven culture dedicated to life-changing care. The organization supports its staff through comprehensive, industry-leading benefit packages tailored to meet the diverse needs and preferences of its workforce, promoting growth and professional development within nearly every medical specialty.

Additionally, the role may involve developing and implementing USDA-compliant menus specifically designed for children up to sixty months of age, supporting nutritional goals and compliance with federal guidelines.

This full-time position offers shifts including 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing flexibility to accommodate both AM and PM schedules. The pay range for this role is competitive, between $16.50 and $26.80 per hour, reflecting the specialized skills and commitment required. Employees may also access a wealth of benefits and perks such as robust educational assistance programs, generous paid time off, employee assistance and wellness programs, paid parental leave, and eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program, among other valuable offerings.
