Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of high-volume restaurant or hospital kitchen experience
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
- Commitment to maintaining sanitary standards
- Basic food handling certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in high-volume restaurant or hospital kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
- Strong commitment to service, safety and professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepares cold and hot menu items according to standard recipes for patients, employees, cafeteria customers, physicians, community agencies and catering events
- Maintains equipment in kitchen to standard
- Assists in storage of deliveries
- Maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards
- Completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital
- Performs other duties as assigned
