Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2-5 years experience working as a cook preferred
- Food handler permit preferred
- Familiarity with inventorying, cooking by recipes, quantity cooking and following written procedures
- Ability to stand and walk most of the day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and employees
- Understand and effectively deliver on all recipes and food service concepts as directed
- Inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Cook food by recipes and maintain quality
- Follow food handling and sanitation procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Dietary/Nutrition Services
