Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable transportation to work location
  • Willingness to obtain food handler's certification if not already certified
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Strong communication skills

  • Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred, especially in fast-casual or outdoor settings
  • Food handler's certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer season
  • Dependable means of transportation to work location
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds individually

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, following recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist with prep work, inventory management, and restocking
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Ensure all food leaving the kitchen is fresh, hot, and well-presented
  • Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the kitchen daily
  • Contribute to a positive and team-focused atmosphere
