Job Requirements
- high school graduate preferred
- two years of experience in hot food preparation and production in healthcare or institutional food service or currently works in NorthBay Nutrition department with completed cook competency checklist
- current Safe Food Handler's certificate required
- ability to work with a variety of individual personalities
- knowledge of sanitation, safety and infection control procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- maintains state and federal mandated standards of safety and cleanliness
- prepares and produces hot food
- distributes meals within and between healthcare facilities
- sanitizes kitchen facilities and equipment
- assembles and produces tray-line meals
- manages product inventory and ordering
- participates in departmental activities and projects
