Job Requirements
- One year cooking experience required
- Ability to accept and understand verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to assist with cleaning and maintenance duties
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
- Ability to supervise staff in Manager's absence
Job Qualifications
- One year cooking experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Culinary arts degree preferred
- Completion of state or local food safety training course preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare foods for patients, staff, and guests
- Assist with general cleaning of cooking and eating areas
- Supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Manager
- Ensure adherence to facility and departmental policies and procedures
- Follow proper sanitation, safety, and infection control policies
- Accept and understand verbal and written instructions
- Provide high quality food preparation and service
