Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-3 years of food preparation experience
- ISDOH approved Food Handler certification under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required
- willingness to work part-time, 24 hours per week
- availability for weekend and holiday shifts
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-3 years of food preparation experience
- knowledge of therapeutic diet preparations
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- ability to follow production sheets accurately
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepare regular and therapeutic diet food items
- prepare hot and cold food items for retail, patient, and catering services
- assemble food items according to production sheets
- work under the direction of the Chef, Lead, Manager, or Supervisor
- adhere to food safety and quality standards
- support weekend and holiday shift work
- maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
