Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of food preparation experience
  • ISDOH approved Food Handler certification under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required
  • willingness to work part-time, 24 hours per week
  • availability for weekend and holiday shifts
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of food preparation experience
  • knowledge of therapeutic diet preparations
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • ability to follow production sheets accurately
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare regular and therapeutic diet food items
  • prepare hot and cold food items for retail, patient, and catering services
  • assemble food items according to production sheets
  • work under the direction of the Chef, Lead, Manager, or Supervisor
  • adhere to food safety and quality standards
  • support weekend and holiday shift work
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
