Bellbrook is currently seeking a dedicated Part-time Cook to join its team in Rochester Hills. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures
  • Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dietary service areas
  • Must perform regular inspections of dietary service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable of dietary procedures
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Experience in food service or culinary environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Review menus prior to preparation of food
  • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, and submit to the Manager
  • Ensure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Coordinate services with other departments as necessary
  • Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis while ensuring procedures are followed
  • Assist in standardizing work methods to be accomplished
  • Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of Cook
  • Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time
