Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience required
  • 1-2 years in similar position preferred
  • Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Must be able to work varied schedules including holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in confined and noisy environments
  • Ability to obtain local, state, or federal certifications as necessary

Job Duties

  • Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes ensuring consistency and quality
  • Monitor product storage, portion sizes, and special items like stocks and sauces
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas to meet Health Department regulations
  • Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and operational
  • Uphold high standards of food production and presentation
  • Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation practices
  • Manage station setup, breakdown, and prep work
