The role we are currently seeking to fill is that of a Cook who will be responsible for the timely preparation of quality food that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our diverse community within the facility. This position requires someone who can follow established facility policies and procedures rigorously, ensuring food safety and proper handling at all times. The ideal candidate will have experience or affinity for working in a fast-paced environment, particularly within long-term care settings, hospitality, or restaurant industries. The Cook must demonstrate dependability and excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with residents and team members. In addition to food preparation, this role includes managing kitchen operations with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and organization. Teamwork is essential, as the Cook will collaborate with other kitchen staff and may sometimes work independently to accomplish tasks. We also emphasize ongoing education and certification, with support provided for attaining current Sanitation Certification if not already held.
