Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to operate large-volume cooking equipment safely and efficiently
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and package food products to order or keep warm until sold
  • Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
  • Control portions and serving temperatures of all products
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, including proper storage of food and sanitation
  • Ensure all food safety, health, and safety standards are met
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and follow company attendance policies
