Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate large-volume cooking equipment safely and efficiently
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare and package food products to order or keep warm until sold
- Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
- Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
- Control portions and serving temperatures of all products
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, including proper storage of food and sanitation
- Ensure all food safety, health, and safety standards are met
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and follow company attendance policies
