The company operates a diverse portfolio that includes seven world-class venues and works with some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions worldwide, spanning four continents. As a pioneer in the live entertainment industry, Oak View Group is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and creating memorable experiences for audiences and guests alike.

This commitment is reflected in their hiring practices and their focus on amplifying voices from different communities, thus enriching the quality of service and innovation they deliver.

The Cook role at Oak View Group is central to delivering high-quality culinary experiences within fast-paced venue environments. The position involves preparing menu items using a variety of cooking equipment while adhering to rigorous food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. This role is offered as part-time employment with an hourly wage ranging between $15.00 and $17.00, reflecting the company's commitment to competitive pay. In addition to the base pay, employees benefit from participation in the 401(k) Savings Plan, including matching contributions, which supports long-term financial planning and security.

The Cook’s daily tasks include preparing both hot and cold foods following company recipes and portion guidelines, arranging and garnishing plates for guest delivery, operating large-volume cooking equipment like grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens, and maintaining cleanliness and safety within the work area. The Cook is also responsible for reporting any equipment issues and coordinating with supervisors and chefs to ensure menu quality and food consumption estimates are met. The role requires excellent attendance and availability to work during events as scheduled, highlighting the importance of reliability and teamwork in this position.

Oak View Group values candidates who have prior cooking or prep cook experience and who can operate standard kitchen equipment including broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and knives. Effective communication skills are essential for working collaboratively within a fast-paced, event-driven environment, maintaining respect and professionalism with co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests. Additionally, possessing a valid food handling certificate—such as ServSafe—is preferred and may be required depending on state and federal regulations.
