Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- state approved Serve Safe Certification within 6 months of start date required
- one to two years of cooking/prep work preferred
- ability to work scheduled hours including every other weekend and holiday rotation
- ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and cleaning
- strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Read and modify recipes based on census
- provide age-appropriate care/service as applicable to role
- assure reliable, predictable outcomes and no needless waits
- use information systems to their full capability
- assist as needed in other department duties
- prepare and serve food including hot and cold preparation
- prepare and bake specialty items
- restock food and supplies
- clean work area and equipment
- inventory and order food
- wash dishes, pots and pans, and put away as needed
- perform general daily cleaning duties
