Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation and cooking
- ability to pass a written examination with a minimum score of 70 percent
- ability to pass an oral interview contributing 70 percent of examination weight
- successful completion of preplacement medical assessment
- fingerprint clearance by federal and state authorities
- possession of a valid california motor vehicle operator's license for certain positions
- completion of child abuse mandated reporter training within six weeks of hire
