Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalence
  • minimum three years experience in food preparation preferred
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and griddles
  • ability to create compound sauces and derivatives including Beurre Blancs
  • must be able to complete required classes or certifications
  • ability to obtain valid gaming license
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work in various kitchen stations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to meet job demands

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalence
  • minimum three years experience in food preparation and culinary knowledge preferred
  • ability to work in multiple kitchen stations such as sauté, broiler, appetizer, pantry, pasta, and grill
  • completion of required classes or certifications
  • ability to obtain a valid gaming license from regulatory body
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • capability to maintain interpersonal relationships

Job Duties

  • Operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and griddles
  • provide excellent guest service
  • greet guests approaching service area
  • participate with staff to cook, prepare, dish up, and assemble outlet food
  • adhere to control procedures for food costs and quality
  • encourage and abide by health codes and hand-washing guidelines
  • prepare food items according to standard recipes
  • create compound sauces and derivatives including Beurre Blancs
  • prepare written food requisitions for supplies and inventory
