Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as cook in a hospital or full-service kitchen preferred
  • Food Handlers Card - Oregon required
  • Knowledge and understanding of proper food handling and sanitation
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent

  • Combination of experience and formal culinary training considered
  • Food Handlers Card - Oregon required
  • Professional Culinary Institute Certificate preferred
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation required
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Job Duties

  • Accurately follow and prepare recipes
  • Prepare hot and cold food according to recipe and production guidelines
  • Maintain proper food handling techniques
  • Clean and sanitize workstations following safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Organize, calculate, and produce food production
  • Maintain appropriate records according to regulatory and departmental standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
