Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Experience as a short order cook
  • Knowledge of full scale recipe production
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years' experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant, hotel, or senior living community preferred
  • Experience as a short order cook required
  • Must have full scale recipe production experience
  • A genuine passion for food and a desire to create memorable dining experiences
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations
