High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking
Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
Flexibility to float to various work locations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a hospital or healthcare food service setting preferred
Ability to work under the direction of multiple supervisors
Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Ability to float to multiple work locations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to food safety and hygiene practices

Job Duties

Prepare and season meals according to dietary and nutritional guidelines
Cook meals for patients, staff, visitors, and special events
Float between various locations to meet departmental needs
Collaborate with kitchen staff under the direction of Executive Chef and management
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in clean and orderly condition
Assist in inventory management and food preparation planning
